Noche de Gala - For this fun event celebrating culture and raising funds for scholarships, I provided photography (I hired somebody to do that) and videography. I recorded the audio from the main soundboard. I shot and edited this highlight film, adding the background music and the titles (I did not create the logo), along with Spanish translation for a line in the final credits. I shot some of it on a tripod, some of it on a gimbal and some of it in slow motion.
Salvemos la Familia - This was a three-day community event put on by a church in Detroit, MI. I was hired to provide photography (I hired somebody to do that) and record the whole 2-part event on Saturday evening, as well as Sunday’s event. I also produced the highlight film seen here. For this video, I created an intro in which I mixed in elements that they had already created (the voiceover, some on-screen graphics) and added some additional graphics, background music, and recorded footage. I mixed in some stock footage of the city as well, color grading it to match the look of the rest of the intro. Starting around the 1:34 mark, I used the sound I recorded from the soundboard and mixed in footage spanning the two days I was a part of. I shot some of it on a tripod and some of it on a gimbal. The whole event was in Spanish, so being bilingual was key in being able to do it all successfully.
Wedding Highlight Film - I shot and edited this highlight video. I recorded the voiceover of the couple reading a letter to their soon-to-be spouse, as well as the audio from the ceremony and reception. I hired a second shooter to capture simultaneous moments throughout the day. I also added the motion graphic at the beginning.
Quinceañera - I shot and edited this highlight film. I also added the titles and motion graphic at the beginning. All done in Spanish.
Wedding Photography - I shot all the photos for this wedding and then created this video highlighting images from throughout the day. I also chose the music.
